New collection: Index Fototeca

Index Fototeca was founded in 1986 and specialises in art and history. The collection has been enriched with diverse material from museums, libraries, and individual collections, and includes photographs, fine art, architecture, ceramics, posters, sculptures, and maps.

In this collection one can find art and cultural artefacts from different civilisations, including China, Islam, Egypt, Etruscan, Greece, Pre-Columbian culture, Persia, and Roman Empire amongst others.

This selection highlights the library's strong focus on architecture, painting, and decorative arts of Spanish-speaking countries and portraits of some of the major cultural personalities of the region.
