Featured Story: Siena: The Rise of Painting 1300 - 1350 - as part of the upcoming National Gallery Bicentenary celebrations, the first full-scale exhibition of 14th century Sienese art outside Italy is coming to the National Gallery, London. The exhibition promises some of Europe’s earliest and most exquisite paintings from Siena in its moment of greatest influence, just before the Renaissance.
