akg-images is proud to represent FAF Toscana - Fondazione Alinari per la Fotografia, home of the renowned Alinari archives. Founded in Florence in 1852 by the Alinari brothers - Giuseppe, Leopoldo and Romualdo, it is the oldest photographic archive still in existence. From 19th-century daguerreotypes to modern colour photos, the Alinari houses an extensive collection of images documenting life in Italy and worldwide.
